What are the earrings made with?

All earrings are made out of quality polymer clay and stainless surgical steel components. Some have metallic leaf, paint, glitter or mica powders to make them sparkle, and most are finished with a layer of glaze or resin to give them shine!

Where are components sourced from?

Components are sourced from small businesses within Australia whenever possible.

Do you do custom orders?

Drumroll….. yes we do!

I am lucky enough to have a 3D printer and am very happy to work with you to create a bespoke piece. Whether it be a shape available in the shop or a new shape entirely. Please be aware that customs will take more time than orders already available in the shop as they will be made to order.

If I see something I like on instagram or facebook how do I order it/can it be put aside for me?

Of course! I would be more than happy to add them to your order. Due to the nature of small batches however it may take me time to make another pair if they are currently out of stock. All of my earrings are handmade and so each will be slightly different but I would be happy to make another pair for you!

If I order more than one of something will they be the same?

All products will vary slightly due to their handmade nature, with that in mind each is a unique piece. Different designs will vary more than others, however i will endeavor to get them as close as possible if that is requested.

Can I wear them in the shower?

Polymer clay once baked seals and becomes water resistant however I recommend removing earrings to shower or swim in order to protect them so that they’ll last for many years to come!

Care should be taken with some perfumes and body creams as they may affect the colouration of the pieces.

Do you make clip on earrings?

Yes we do!

Most dangles can easily be converted into clip on earrings for those without pierced ears.

Studs will need to be made as a custom design so will take longer to post

Shipping times

Shipping times will vary. Shop orders will be posted same day or next day (with either express or standard shipping as is selected by you).

Allow 2-3 weeks for custom orders. Custom orders take time to make and then will be posted as soon as they are ready.

Return Policy

Due to hygiene reasons earrings cannot be refunded once worn and as such wont be accepted for returns. Should there be a problem with you pair please contact me at hartdesignclay@gmail.com and I will endeavor to find a solution with you should you have any concerns.

Hart design clay earrings contain small pieces which may present a choking hazard and so should be kept out of reach of small children.
